Hello! I’m so happy you’re here. I’m Shanna. Mom to three young men, wife to an amazing man of 25 years, who is also my rock, and full time auntie to my late brother’s children, ages 7 and 4. Home decor has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. When I was younger, I loved playing house, changing my bedroom around and designing (or rather sketching with pencil on construction paper) what I wanted my future home to look like. I always dreamt of living in a beautiful farmhouse with a large wrap around porch. That dream did not go as planned. If I’m being completely honest, where we live is far from being my dream home. We have lived in several places over the years and I’ve always tried to make every house we’ve lived in a cozy, inviting home. We have lived in our current home for 12 years and although it’s not my dream home, it is our forever home. So turning it into a home that we love and can be proud of has become a passion of mine. Which prompted me to start my home decor Instagram account 5 years ago. At first it was just to document and share our journey of renovating our fixer upper. It quickly became so much more and brought in several opportunities to work with amazing companies. I started this blog to continue my story and expand my horizons. I appreciate you stopping by and sharing in my journey of all things home.
