Bathroom Makeover

Happy Monday friends. Have you enjoyed your Labor Day weekend? We stayed home and finished up some projects. Including our little bathroom makeover. We’ve lived in our house for almost 12 years and I’m ashamed to admit it has taken that long to fix this bathroom up. This was my son’s bathroom in our partially finished basement. He moved out a year ago and I’ve wanted to spruce it up since. I’m so happy to finally have it done. And now I can get started on the rest of the basement. It needs to be cleaned out (it’s currently being used as a storage unit. Haha.) And then paint and flooring. It’s a big project but I’m excited to get it done. And now we’re one step closer. Check out this before and after of the bathroom.

I can’t even believe this is the same bathroom. I love how it turned out. And my favorite part is the fact that it was done on a budget and cost less than $250 dollars. The light, faucet, flooring and brick backsplash are all from amazon. Linked below.

I also used this faux brick in my kitchen and I love it. I already had the shelf and mirror. They are both from Decor Steals and the BATH letters are from Very Jane. Isn’t it amazing what a weekend, some paint and a few cosmetic updates can achieve? And now I don’t have to be embarrassed to let people use this bathroom.

This is actually the bathroom my husband has now claimed as his own. I told him I wanted to make a sign for the shelves and this is the one he wanted.

It’s fitting, right? Haha. I’m obsessed with how this room has turned out. I don’t know why I didn’t do it sooner. Then again, we do live in a fixer upper and the list of projects I want to do is a mile long. But with every finished project, we’re one step closer. As always, thank you for stopping by today! I hope I’ve inspired you to tackle a project you’ve been putting off.

XX, Shanna
